Building a huge portable bike jump that fits in my Honda
Since the airbag arrived, this project has been on my to do list. The challenge was to build a portable jump, large enough to use with the airbag lander, and compact enough to transport in the bed of my Honda Ridgeline WITH the airbag, blower, and a bike.
What ended up transpiring was a jump jam at Kevin's house, where things may have gotten a little crazy.

I have a semi-hack for making dirt jumps and landings, in Hawaii where I'm from rains would often erode the trails and destroy the features that you spent so much time making, a solution for this is to cover the jumps in upside-down carpet. This protects the jumps from erosion and has the added benefit of traction when wet. This can also be used to make your airbag lander safe to use when wet

Great video, you guys have amazing skills. You inspired our back yard trails journey when you did your back yard trails and we would love to add some scaled down versions of some of the features you have created. My boys and I really need to improve our riding skills. Thanks for putting out good content.

Maybe you can add a tank at the bottom so you can always fill it with water or sand to make it more stable

Hi Seth I have a question¸, where can I get your address cause i want to visit you¸. I am from Slovenia .

You can just drill 5/8” holes at the bottom on each side of take-off. Then buy some long 5/8” lag bolts with washers. Drive bolts into ground with sledge hammer, ramp is now secure. The lock/binders you need to hold ramp together are the ones used on aftermarket off-road tire carriers/ swing gates. Yours are just undersized for the application. Those two changes should make it good to go.

They say “ bros before hoes” but sometimes you gotta say bikes before boys

A lip is a part of a jump, the very top, not the whole thing

I have built portable structures with wood before and I would recommend considering 3 or 4-inch hinges and when you want to disassemble you just knock out the hinge pins. This could be an alternative if you don't want to use the wingnuts.

You can buy the level bubble part separate really cheap.... so you can buy one and glue it into the ramp structure.....

Hey bro, I don't leave comments on many videos or at all for that fact and that's my bad on my part. My job some times keeps me form it, but that does not negate the fact that because of you I have found the hobby that I enjoy the most and it has helped my mental and physical state. I have followed you for about two year now and I wanted to say thank you for adding this hobby to my life. You don't understand what this channel has done for me. All I want to say is thank you for what you do and keep doing it, not because it brings you a pay check but because you make a difference in peoples lives. Keep it up Seth!!!
