So I just parted ways with a love too strong for my poor human’s ego. A love you get once in a lifetime. On february 14th, Valentine’s day, she said « I love you » first. On february 19th, she dropped me. I wanted to kill myself. I tried every song I knew to heal with music. But I just felt empty inside. I listened to my favorite artists, and I still felt empty. I came across some songs that were good, but not even close to my feelings. Then I found this. I was in the kitchen, and this loaded after a Leonard Cohen’s video. I listened to it a couple seconds and came to the conclusion I should do a proper listening session on my hi-fi stereo. I went in my room, hooked up my phone to my speakers, laid in my chair, closed my eyes. And for the first time, I listened to a song that helped me understand *my own feelings* as well as my ex’s. And for the first time I felt that someone, somewhere, could feel this much grief and sadness, that this was human, that I didn’t belonged either in a psychiatric hospital or our of this world period. We live in such a cold, selfish little artificial ego-bubble, with rules made to kill our freedom and jou and keep ourselves from enjoying life so we buy products to satisty the needs of severely depressive people who are so not in touch with their emotions the thing they care for the most is money. And sometimes, we forget that. A lot of times. And today I felt healed. And I definitely do not want to kill myself. « Color changing hues » is a beautiful way of saying how romantic love evolves into the strongest friendship, or vice-versa. We’re still friends, and I know we both suffered for our sanity fighting for an ideal that doesn’t exist. Deep down we do love each other - and together or not in this life... Deep down... That’s enough to make both of us happy :)

you sir, need to find your soul. this is just perfect piano playing with extremely well delivered singing. seems great right? but a man with sloppy finger work and a stressed voice but who touched your soul with his tormented singing and ability to make the piano cry in its notes would destroy your perfect tone and pitch and piano. you dont believe the words, you dont feel the misery, and that is the difference between being some guy doing a cover at a piano, and someone tearing my soul open and leaving me in awe and looking for the rest of their music.
