I would love to work in a company where people are allowed to critizise their statements and/or ideas so openly and directly. Unfortunately a lot of people identify their ideas way too much with their ego, and they get pissed if you question their ideas. Such an open, honest and direct discussion will most likely get you fired. This is probably also influenced a lot by the culture of the country and the company. I would love to hear about places(companies, countries etc.) where a culture of open, tough, direct and honest dicussions is appreciated. Please share your experiences!

So Chris is a "globally recognized leader" (in JRE's description) and doesn't go by exact scientific reports and charts but he's not an expert but Joe's had him on several times. And James goes by the reports and charts but it doesn't count. And there's a link to Chris' article on game changers but no links for James at all. Ok, there's no bias at all...

What's the argument in the comments section about? James was over the top, yes, but right. And to people saying he's a bully, we know that he's upset but it's definitely because he's picked on for arguing for the diet with less popular support. A diet that get's unreasonably trashed on with no basis in fact whatsoever. But he definitely should chill. BUT and a big BUT he's right and Chris admitted James was the whole time. This whole debate is James undoing every argument Chris threw at him. Joe even agreed James killed it. James proved not only through his own experience but with evidence that you're healthier on a vegan diet.

Can't stand James's communication skills, but the film is very misleading. The film made me feel like you should stop eating meat. Also the majority of people can't afford a very high quality of meat. Eat healthy and in moderation, you should also be doing some kind of exercising.

You need to watch the whole thing for yourself. You need to hear how Kresser is actually pulled apart on most things. James is a bit of a knob, how he keeps on pointing out Kresser's short comings, which is very childish. I wanted Kresser to come out on top in this argument. Unfortunately, He simply does not.

I'm 1 hour and 1 minute in, including Joe's Adverts. James defended his stance well, the Chris guy doesn't appear to have any credibility on his end in my opinion. I don't advocate a 100 percent plant based diet (I'm not on a diet at all), but Chris's refuting statements and supporting arguments, are built on weak and semantic constructs. It forces James to address the minutiae of Chris's generalized claims, which sets up Chris to paint his James's responses as irrelevant.

  60. Mike B

    Mike BDegi Síðan síðan

58:53 Joe tells him that eating green leafy vegetables with proteins is beneficial. James never admits anything. He goes to say “Well, I think he was being misleading.” He cant read Forest plots, you didn’t write a conclusion. It’s also a common known fact that when people b.s. they talk an awful lot and they interrupt you all the time. All James does in this whole video is rip on Chris personally. He places a heavy emphasis on that. He gets Chris to admit he’s wrong on something. Even if it’s extremely minor what he will do every time Chris makes a point. He’ll say “Well I don’t agree with this and then add that Chris can’t read Forest plots. When Joe mentions Protein quality, James keeps saying, “Yeah, we’ll get to that”, but they never do. That’s the most important part. I bet that 99% of the people commenting on here didn’t watch the whole video because if they did, they would easily see James’s misleading ways. They just watch until they hear what they want to say. Then come down to the comments section and say that point. No wonder this world is so fuked.
