Dark 'Matter' is a misnomer. The community should have called it 'Dark Gravity' since we are looking at an unknown gravitational effect. Using the word 'Matter' implies we already know the answer, namely: missing mass. This is not correct. We merely did not understand gravity until recently. Gravity, according to a recently published study, is the emergent longitudinal spacetime contraction effect, caused by the speed of (and inside) mass. It operates opposite to the vector of movement. It was in essence already described as 'length contraction' of high speed objects in Einstein's special relativity. The same principle takes place at the atoms (restmass) of any object as subatomic particles circle around the nucleus of individual atoms. It is only due to the fact that all countless electron planes are unaligned that cumulatively we experience this restmass space contraction to operate radially. As such Einstein's GR is merely a mathematical approximation of this bulk radial effect. So now we know why stars at the outer spiral arms of galaxies stay put: Their additional macro speed is orthogonal to our view and generates this extra spacetime contraction

Will there be a balancing point though?

At this point in time, I don't have anything to be grateful for. I have failed in my career, have no gf for the last 5 years, in crushing debt and is doing a job which has no meaning, just for money, but is extremely physically demanding and my boss will not pay me for even half an hour of extra work, even if I do, he would just readjust the time, thus not paying me. I am just alive like a machine so that others do not have to suffer like me.

This video would be a huge help for people who just need a new perspective but I don't like the idea that someone in deep poverty should be trying to feel as much gratitude as someone who has rarely seen real struggle their entire life. It almost feels like saying everyone who is dissatisfied with their life should just get over it regardless of circumstance. :( Nice video though. Thanks for keeping these coming, Kurzgesagt.

Beautiful and very wise! There's something about your videos that affects me. I noticed something strange about myself that I feel guilty of being grateful. Like being grateful would stop me from striving for being better and more ambitious. I feel the danger of complacency. Obviously that's something I need to work on because my framing is bad and toxic. I think it relates to my perfectionism and depression. Anyways, thank you. I'm grateful for this vid! :)

0:00 Everybody is? I clicked on this video because I can't relate to being dissatisfied. I don't know what drives me, and not a single action, that my body performs, feels voluntary (it feels like I'm not even the one making decisions, or even typing this. I feel like I can't even lift my own arm if someone asks me to.) I don't get bored and I can't want things, as far as I can tell. The voice, controlling my body, tells me that I should be more selfish; that I should only want to help myself. I have no preference, but I enjoy it when I see my body help others and feel sad when it refuses to. Still, those emotions aren't accompanied by opinions of what should or should not be. There's nothing wrong with feeling sad, to me. There's nothing desirable about enjoying things, as well. Those things are not bad, or good, to me. They're just there. For whatever reason, though, I feel like I appreciate every moment of my life more than you could imagine. I can't make sense of my mind and can't relate to the minds of neurotypical people. I'm probably no more paradoxical than neurotypical people are. Neurotypical people probably just filter out all the apparent contradictions in the way they think, feel and behave.
